Message	If rubber, plastic (or other "soft") items are stored in a climate-controlled garage, they are likely to last a very long time with minimal change. However, if stored in a hot, humid climate, (especially if subject to UV exposure) they are highly likely to succumb to the elements, resulting in dry rot and weakened material. NOS items can go either way, depending on how they were kept.
